I first discovered vintage fashion through other blogs and
created my own in order to curate my wardrobe and share with my readers
information on the great alternative to wearing authentic vintage that is
vintage reproduction clothing. I love, and have always loved vintage fashion
but due to its finite availability I decided on an alternative; wearing vintage
reproduction. Today there is so much vintage reproduction available that is reminiscent
of the styles, silhouettes and fabrics from past decades that it is possible to
create a vintage look without wearing actual vintage.
I live in Brisbane, Australia where it’s quite warm all year
round so as a result my wardrobe mostly consists of dresses and playsuits to
help deal with the heat. I never leave
home without a parasol which is an absolute must to keep from getting burned! I
like to wear things that are both practical and beautiful, which is why I love vintage
reproduction so much.
