In early February (a long time ago now!) I turned twenty three. I didn't blog about it at the time because I feel a bit funny about getting older, because right now I'm having one of those moments where I don't know where I'm going or what I will do when I get there. I did however have a wonderful Birthday, with
three different cheese cakes - strawberry, lemon and French vanilla!
Wow, they look amazing! I turn 25 this year and it feels alooot older :-( Jenna x

So cool, Happy Birthday (even when it's a little late)
ReplyDeleteA birthday with cheesecake and macaroons is pretty much the best birthday ever!!
ReplyDeleteAw, this table looks so pretty! I'm kind of in the same place as you (though 22 years old!). While I've got some ideas, there are a lot of unknowns now that need to be figured out. It's exhilarating some days and terrifying on others!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such a cute birthday party! Your cakes sound sooo delicious!
ReplyDeletehappy birthday angel!! looks like you had a fantastic time! and what stunning photos! xxxxxx

ReplyDeleteAll served on beautiful plates!! ps happy birthday, trust me, getting older is an amazing thing
ReplyDeletehappy belated birthday! all those treats should compensate for feeling a bit lost:-) i've been having similar feelings far too often lately, but i'm glad you had a lovely birthday! xx
ReplyDeletegreat photos
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! I don't think the feeling of "I don't know where I'm going or what I will do when I get there" ever really fades as we grow older but embrace it and go with the flow. You never know what amazing things are in the future! xo
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday from me, too!
ReplyDeleteI didn´t know, what looks better. The cake or the macaroons...

Joyful belated birthday wishes, darling Harlow!
ReplyDeleteI think that a great many of feel that way (not knowing quite where we're headed in the grander scheme of life) in our early and mid-20s. I know that I certainly did and that really, only time itself and making certain important decisions helped to quell those very natural feelings as the years rolled on. For what it's worth, by about 27, and definitely by 28, they had largely vanished and I could suddenly settle into my remaining 20s with renewed gusto and enthusiasm, both about my age and about life in general. I hope dearly that the same rings true for you as this decade of your life continues to unfold.

three different cakes, that's the way to do it! happy birthday lovely, i hope you had a wonderful day even though it was a while ago now. don't worry, i'm 25 and i think it was around 23 that i started feeling like i was getting SO OLD. but i think everyone probably feels that way in their 20s, and frankly it's okay to still be working it all out. i don't think anyone really has it all figured out no matter what age they are, you just have to take life as it comes and seize good opportunities when they come your way. xx
