Shades of Van Gogh

Van Gogh did a series of paintings of sunflowers where he depicted the flowers in different stages of their life, from full bloom until they withered away. It is easy to see how these magnetic flowers inspired him, for even a week after having bought this bouquet for our dinner table the flowers still remain magnificent, albeit slightly wilted!

  8. Radiantly gorgeous outfit! That sunflower skirt is one of my favourite Hell Bunny pieces (I'd so love to add one to my wardrobe some day, too). Sunflowers will always have a special place in my heart, chiefly because they grew in tall, glorious abundance in my paternal grandparent's garden when I was a little girl and as such were part of the backdrop of countless lovely summer memories.

  18. oh, you are wearinga two piece set! beautiful. love the knotted blouse!
it was pretty suprising to me, when i read some commetns on my 'seperates'' post, that some girls don't like to tuck in tops ... i never thought about that ... some days later i tried on a super high waisted jeans in a shop ...ha, i wasn't able to tuck in the blouse without looking silly! hahaha! ;)
