First of all, I want to thank you for your wonderful response in regards to the video I posted! I am so glad you liked it. I enjoyed making it and as I have been studying film for the last few years it's something I really love doing. For my next bit of video making I thought maybe I could do a questions and answers video! If you have any questions for me in regards to the clothes I wear and anything else you have wanted to know, you can ask me here or send me an email. Also, you can get a chance to laugh at my Australian accent (which isn't that Australian I've been told) so there you go! A hair tutorial might also be on the cards when I get home to Australia.

Last week on our way home from the forest (note my very sensible outdoor activities outfit!) a kitty ran up to me. She meowed at us really loudly and as I have been missing our cats back home I couldn't resist crouching down to give her a pat. Right away she climbed into my lap, and without any hesitation started rubbing herself all over me asking for pats. Her fur was filthy and matted and in some places there was none at all.

I wanted so badly to take her home and give her a bath. It's sad because she had the potential to be such a beautiful cat if she had someone to care for her. Even though she looked to be no older than six months I am fairly certain that she had recently given birth. Taking her home with us wasn't an option, but when she ran all the way home after us we gave her some sausage and sour cream that she lapped up greedily. After that she hung around outside our apartment for a while before continuing on her way.

  1. That's amazing! When a cat chooses you, it's a real honor. I love this outfit.

  2. Awww poor kitty! I probably would've taken it in and given it a bath. 2 of my 3 cats were strays!

My question for a video is... which vintage repro clothing websites do you think have the best prices?

  10. What a heartbreakingly sweet kitty - the poor, precious darling. It would have taken every fiber in my being not to take her home with me, too. How special that she got to feel your love and care for a short while, I'm sure it meant a great deal to her.

Love this classic red and white ensemble - it's so summery and fresh! Just perfect for the kind of glorious sunshine that your photos are drenched in. Can't wait to see more videos and hear your beautiful voice, honey.

  12. What a poor kitten. So glad that you gave it some love and food to it. It makes me think of the poor little stray kitten that comes and visits me at my unit.
Looking forward to seeing more videos too!

  16. that's so sad about the cat, it just breaks your heart to know that you can't really do anything to help because you can't take her home with you. hopefully she'll be okay and someone will be able to take her in.

on a happier note your video was wonderful! i hope you start doing more of them, i know it was your first but it it really showed that you've studied film and that you know about composition and how to tell a bit of a story with it. can't wait to see more of them lovely! xo
